Check your redirect map in ChatGPT.
Share a redirect CSV to find loops, chains, duplicate sources and conflicting destinations. Get findings and corrected CSV text to review before importing your map.
For SEO freelancers, agencies and store owners planning a site migration. This checks the supplied map’s structure. It does not visit your URLs, install redirects or prove that your live site works.
Connect your assistant
Use a custom MCP connection in a ChatGPT account that supports it. The server address is https://mcp.redirectatlas.com/mcp. No RedirectAtlas sign-in is required.
RedirectAtlas is not yet listed in the public plugin directory. A custom connection’s availability depends on your ChatGPT account and workspace settings. If you cannot add one, use the free browser checker.
Try a small map first
Ask ChatGPT to use RedirectAtlas to audit this fictional CSV with https://example.com as the source website:
Source,Target
/old-shop,/shop
/shop,/collections
/about,/aboutThe chain can be shortened to /old-shop,/collections. The self-redirect is omitted from corrected output. Review the findings and every omission before using the returned CSV.
What comes back
The audit_redirect_map tool returns structured findings, corrected CSV content and a list of rules omitted or needing your decision. Loops and conflicting destinations need manual review. The output is text returned to your conversation, rather than a hosted download link.
For a real audit, explicitly supply the CSV content and source website, and ask: “Audit this redirect map with RedirectAtlas. Explain the errors and warnings, then give me corrected CSV text and list anything I must review.”
Limits and data handling
The assistant connection accepts at most 100 redirect rules and 64 KiB of CSV, with no more than 16 columns or 2,048 characters in a cell. It supports supplied CSV content only. For Excel, server configuration files or up to 1,000 free rules, use the browser checker.
Your assistant sends the map you share to our server for processing and receives the results. We do not keep maps or results in persistent application storage or log their raw contents. Cloudflare processes requests and connection information in transit. Your assistant provider’s conversation policies also apply. See the privacy policy.
Keep credentials, private access links and personal data out of your map. If your file should stay on your device, choose the browser checker instead.
After you fix the map
Review all corrections, import through your platform’s normal process, then test actual HTTP responses and destination pages. Map findings do not establish indexing, rankings or live redirect behavior. Use our audit guide or the separate live-check preview for the next step.
